About Debt & Bills

Debt & Bills does two things. It computes honest payoff math — when your card clears, what the minimum payment really costs, how a snowball actually rolls — with every formula named and its source linked. And it helps you push back on bills, with letter templates that cite the federal rules they stand on instead of vaguely invoking “your rights.”

What we are not

We are not a debt relief company, a credit counselor, a credit repair service, or a law firm, and we never negotiate on anyone's behalf. We do not promise savings, because nobody can promise savings. The tools show arithmetic; the letters summarize the law with citations; the decisions stay yours. That line is drawn deliberately and it is documented in our disclaimer.

How we handle your numbers

Every calculation runs in your browser. Your balances, rates, and letter drafts are never transmitted to us or anyone else — there is no account and nothing to leak. If you save a plan, it lives in your own browser's storage on your device. Read the full privacy policy or the methodology page for how each number is computed and verified.

Who we are

Debt & Bills is a product of Cosyslabs, a small indie studio building practical digital tools. We also build Budget Build Invest (personal-finance calculators), UnitConvertAll (unit converters), and DevToolzy (developer tools).

Questions, corrections

Found a number that disagrees with its cited source? That is our highest-priority bug — tell us. Every reference-value change we make is dated in the changelog.
