1. What this site is

Debt & Bills provides free calculators, reference data, and document templates for debt payoff math and bill negotiation. Everything is provided for informational and educational purposes only. Results are estimates and do not constitute financial, tax, legal, or investment advice. We are not a lender, a debt relief or debt settlement company, a credit counselor, a credit repair organization, or a law firm, and we do not negotiate with anyone on your behalf.

2. Letter templates

The negotiation letters are templates, not legal advice. They summarize rights that exist in federal law, with citations, but whether and how those rights apply to your situation depends on facts we cannot see. Sending a letter is your decision and your act, made in your own name. For legal advice, consult a licensed attorney.

3. Accuracy

We work hard on accuracy: every changing reference value on this site carries its official source and the date we last checked it, and our payoff engine’s conventions are published on the methodology page. We still make no warranties about the correctness of calculations. Interest computations, issuer minimum payment formulas, and healthcare prices vary by contract and provider. Verify results with your own statements and with authoritative sources.

4. Limitation of liability

All tools and content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Debt & Bills, Cosyslabs Inc., and its contributors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or any financial loss, arising from the use of, or reliance on, any calculator, template, result, or content on this site. You use these tools at your own risk.

5. No account required

No account, registration, or payment is required to use the calculators or letter templates. All current tools are free. If paid products are offered in the future, they will carry their own terms at the point of sale.

6. Acceptable use

You may link to any page, embed the calculators using the provided embed codes with attribution intact, and use the published data files with credit. You may not misrepresent this site’s output as a guarantee, use it to make claims on someone else’s behalf for a fee, or scrape the site in ways that degrade it for others.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
